HOLLYWOOD (WDRB) -- Louisville native Brandy Neelly stays in the "American Idol" competition as the number of contestants was whittled down in Hollywood.
The judges didn't have to hear much of Neelly's rendition of "Stars" to keep the 18-year-old contestant alive in the Hollywood round, in an episode airing Feb. 5.
It's her fourth trip to Hollywood.
In a new twist this season, singers who didn't get unanimous votes from the judges during the audition had to perform again -- and many were sent home.
