LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keith Kaiser clowns around with the crew from Kosair Shrine Circus.
The tigers, elephants, camels, acrobats, trapeze artists, and a host of other entertainers have arrived in Louisville for the 89th annual Kosair Shrine Circus.
The big event begins on Thursday, February 6th and concludes on Sunday, February 9th in Broadbent Arena at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
There are ten performances during that period.Doors open one hour before each show.
The Kosair Shrine Circus is performed by George Carden Circus International.
George is the fifth generation in show business and has been in the circus business all of his life.
This circus travels over 40,000 miles each year in the United States and Canada.
The season lasts 42 weeks with two different units on the road.
George Carden's sons work with the elephants in the circus.
The Kosair Shrine Circus features three-rings of family entertainment.
