FRANKFORT, Ky. (WDRB) -- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton will visit Kentucky on Tuesday to campaign on behalf of Alison Lundergan Grimes, according to a press release from officials with Grimes' campaign.
Grimes is running to become a U.S. Senator.
The trip will mark President Clinton's first stop of the 2014 cycle. President Clinton is set to speak in Louisville.
"We appreciate President Clinton's friendship and are excited that he is making our campaign a top priority," Grimes' senior adviser Jonathan Hurst said Friday.
"We're proud to have the President as a key part of this campaign."
