CHICAGO, Ill.. - An Illinois teenager writes a message in the snow and warms hearts across the country.
Will Hart wrote "Hi Mom, God Bless You" in the snow on top of a parking garage at Chicago's Rush University Medical Center
His mom was recently diagnosed with leukemia and was staying at the center. The 14 year old decided to cheer his mom up with the message, then further spread the cheer by adding "God Bless You" for the other patients. "I thought it would nice for my mom to see it and for others to feel happy," he said.
Sharon Hart was thrilled. "When I saw what he wrote I was just proud and amazed that he could think of doing something as spectacular as that for me just outside my window for everyone to see; it was a big, proud mommy moment. "
A nurse shared a picture of the message on social media and it has since gone viral.
