LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Forget chocolates and flowers: Indiana stores are helping people take a shot at love.
Gun stores are seeing an uptick in sales for firearms. Some stores are even offering pink guns for the occasion. One gun store owner says it makes for a great gift, but requires proper training.
"If you have someone who has made the decision that they are well-versed in the safe and lawful operation of a firearm, I can argue that yes, they may be more protected," said Tim Tomich, owner of Tim's Shooting Academy.
He says it's best to relax and enjoy the process of learning how to shoot.
