LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Fire Commission has confirmed that a local fire department has falsified training records, after a WDRB report.
The Fire Commission says it found discrepancies in the training records from the Southeast Bullitt Fire Department.
Former volunteer firefighters told WDRB News last week that people's names were added to the training logs even though they didn't attend the training. However, the fire department still received state aid and incentive pay.
The Commission is now making a report to present to a committee made up of Fire Commission board members. It's expected to determine what happens next.
