LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- GE is investing in its future in Louisville and a local lawmaker wants tax incentives to help it expand.
Representative Larry Clark just filed an economic incentive bill to promote the expansion that's expected to exceed $325 million for research and development and appliance production.
Clark says GE is facing challenges from competitors that use low-cost foreign production. He says this bill would give GE the incentives to continue to expand in Louisville and protect thousands of jobs.
