LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's top talent in the photography industry came together for an artistic collaboration with a unique message Sunday.
Eight area photographers worked with teams at the Ice House to turn different spaces into works of art. Stylists, makeup artists and models fanned out in preparation.
"If we really want to be progressive and we really want to move forward into the future of art here we need to work together," said professional stylist Gunnar Deatherage, "and I think that this is a great way to get everyone together."
Professional photographer Clay Cook says the event came together on Facebook and has been in the works since last year. "[It's] important that people work together, that's how I really learned how to do everything I did, to collaborate, assist, soak it in and learn," said Cook.
The photographers now have about three weeks to edit the photos and organizers say they hope to display the eight final pieces sometime in March. Details about the showcase will be develop in the coming weeks and will be posted here.
