LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Surveillance video is showing the bold moves of a criminal trio that police say robbed two convenience stores Sunday night.
Police say they caught 18-year-old Jonathan Campos, 19-year-old Miguel Mosquera Iglesias-Luis and 21-year-old Tre Smith after an onlooker wrote down their license plate number at the second robbery location.
But it was at the convenience store less than two hours earlier that the surveillance video shows exactly how the robbery went down.
Footage shows the men hanging out behind Jack's Food Mart on Manslick Road shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday.
Then two of the men can be seen entering the store, both holding guns. Police say those men are Campos and Iglesias-Luis.
One of the men points his gun at the cashier and demands money, while the other goes behind the counter to help move the process along.
Police say Smith was on lookout, as you can see a third person hanging around the outside of the store.
After several minutes, the two men walk out with bags of cash.
Police say less than two hours later, the trio robbed the Circle K in the 6000 block of Bardstown Road.
All three men appeared in court Tuesday morning and are being held at Metro Corrections on robbery charges.
Campos and Iglesisis also face more robbery charges in connection with the robbery of the Valero Food Mart on East Manslick Road early last week.
