POLICE: Convicted felon found with drugs, firearm

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A Louisville man was arrested after police say they uncovered drugs at a home on St. Louis Ave.

Theodore Weaver Jr. was arrested by authorities after he was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana, heroin, baggies, and scales.

According to police records, Weaver had been previously convicted of manslaughter.

Police also uncovered a loaded handgun from under Weaver's mattress, according to an arrest report.

Authorities also reportedly also found items that are used to make marijuana, including lights, seeds, buckets, and plant food. Police also uncovered approximately six grams of heroin.

Weaver is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
