LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana kicked off its annual Bowl for Kids' Sake Wednesday morning.
Now through May, teams of bowlers across the area will be raising money to match children with mentors.
It's the group's largest annual fundraiser.
"My job is to help him see that they are so many things available to kids, than what they see -- show him things and in return he gives me a youthful exposure to things I may not see," said Big Brother Thomas Johnson."
The rock'n roll themed bowling events feature a live DJ, air guitar contests and prizes depending how much money bowlers raise.
