Two-nosed puppy Snorkle finds a new home

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Human Society says its two-nosed puppy has found a new home.

The Humane Society received numerous calls about Snorkle and he was adopted Thursday afternoon.

Morgaan Wilson and Andy Eastes of Louisville and their two children, 7-year-old Zaveaa and 6-month-old Neila, agreed Snorkle was a perfect fit for their family.

Snorkle is two months old and was born with two noses.

Staff members say he might be a mix between an Australian Shepherd and a Pointer.

Two noses on a dog is incredibly rare, but the KHS veterinarian says Snorkle is healthy and breathing just fine.

"It's bifurcated which means it's got a split down the middle and one nostril is on one side one nostril on the other with an actual break between the two," said KHS spokesperson Beth Haendiges.
