SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Members of a South Bend church are trying to dry it out after its ceilings and floors have been inwith water this week.
First Church of the Nazarene pastor Andy Lauer says some water started coming in from the ceiling last week, but more water started coming in with the melting and rain in recent days because of ice dams on the roof.
Lauer tells WSJV-TV (http://bit.ly/1fmClSP ) that repairs to the building and roof could top $100,000.
Dozens of people from the 175-member congregation have been coming in help out. The church has installed a pump outside to remove water, along with many buckets under ceiling leaks and vacuuming up water from the carpets.
