ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are using heavy equipment to determine if a body is buried underneath a vacant Elizabethtown lot.

Crews have been digging at a lot on East Railroad Avenue after police received information that a body may be buried there.

Earlier this week, cadaver dogs and ground-penetrating radar were both used to search the lot.

Police will not say what, if anything, the dogs found on the site.

The land is one of three properties in the area owned by Habitat for Humanity.

Officials were preparing the lot to be surveyed this week.
