LOUSVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's a confrontation that has been three years in the making. Dr. Phil features 18-year-old Josh Young in a two-part series called, "My Dad Tried to Frame Me for Murder."

Young was accused along with his father, Joshua Gouker, of killing Trey Zwicker. The 14-year- old boy's severely beaten body was found behind Liberty High School in May of 2011. Gouker first implicated Young but later confessed to killing Zwicker, who was his stepson. Zwicker's father long believed Young had something to do with the murder but he was acquitted last summer.

WDRB News got a preview of the show that airs today and Tuesday. It's not just Joshua Young and Dr. Phil one-on-one.  Young's father, Joshua Gouker, brings forward another revelation in a jailhouse interview on who killed Trey Zwicker as he tries to get his life sentence overturned.

Also, Young's cousin, Cassi Gouker, appears on the show and stands by her testimony that Young confessed to her that he killed Zwicker.

It all unfolds as Terry Zwicker, Trey Zwicker's father looks for answers in his son's death. He sat face to face with Young for the first time since he was acquitted. Zwicker told Dr. Phil during the taping, " To be honest with you, The day on top of that ditch I did die and this is who come back out of it and all I want is my truth." Young replies, " The truth is I had nothing to do with your son's murder. I'm sitting right here in front of you telling you that looking you in the eye." Zwicker replied, " And what makes you think I'm going to believe you?"

Both Joshua Young and Cassi Gouker agreed to take polygraph tests, but the results have not yet been released.

Part 1 of My Dad Tried to Frame Me for Murder airs on Dr. Phil today at 3 p.m. on WDRB.
