LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Los Angeles Angels slugger Josh Hamilton visited the Louisville Slugger Museum to surprise a local youth baseball team with special gear and professional tips.

Hamilton, a five-time MLB All-Star and the 2010 AL MVP, met with the West Louisville Warriors inside the museum earlier this month.

The Slugger Museum used hidden cameras to capture the surprise of the youth baseball team when Hamilton walked out to hand them new baseball bats and gear.

Hamilton signed gear for the players and offered tips in the batting cage.

A Louisville Slugger spokesperson says the company has provided gear to the West Louisville Warriors for eight years and the travel team sent its first two players to the collegiate level this year.
