LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Plans for a lot owned by Habitat for Humanity in Elizabethtown may be on hold following a police dig on the site.
Authorities spent several days searching the lot on East Railroad Ave. for a body, but didn't end up finding anything.
Hardin County Habitat for Humanity was planning to build a house there in the coming weeks for a family in need.
Executive Director Scott Turner says they may have to wait about a year for the ground to settle before building.
Though Turner says that could change if someone volunteers to help them compact the ground with heavy machinery.
