Ethics case against Rep. John Arnold put on hold

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The ethics case against former Kentucky representative John Arnold is on hold once again.

Arnold is accused of sexually harassing capitol staffers.

The Legislative Ethics Commission was scheduled to hear the Arnold case tomorrow, but the proceeding has been delayed at the request of Arnold's attorney.

Steven Downey says he needs more time to receive reports about Arnold's mental status.
This is the second time the hearing has been postponed.

Arnold is undergoing exams that could help determine whether he's competent to testify and participate in the hearing.
