LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dozens of Facebook users have been sharing photos on WDRB's page of damaging potholes on both sides of the river.
A spokesperson with Metro Public Works says it's not surprising to see more this season because of all the cycles of freezing weather we've seen.
Crews work day and night to fix the holes they know about, and there's about to be an all out blitz to tackle even more potholes.
"We are, in fact, patching
potholes as they are reported to us," said Harold Adams of Metro Public Works. "However, starting March 17, we'll have our
annual pothole blitz where we'll make a concentrated effort to just march down a
grid and knock out as many potholes as we can."
You should report potholes when you see them. You can find links to report potholes you see on the Button.
