Make a bid on Fairy Gardens created by WDRB in the morning

Posted: Updated:

Fairy gardening is all fun and no sweat.  It's one way to people with a green thumb and no space to get creative. WDRB in the Morning is putting together its own Fairy Gardens to be auctioned off for charity at the Home, Garden & Remodeling show February 28 through March 2nd.

The Fairy Garden kits being used were donated by Wallitsch Garden Center, but you'll notice that Candyce Clifft, Sterling Riggs, Jude Redfield and Mike Marshall are putting their own touches on their gardens. Throughout the weekend at the Home, Garden & Remodeling Center you can attend seminars on Fairy Gardening, container gardening and more, taught by Jeff Wallitsch.

Two playhouses built for Kosair Kids by Registered Builders of the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville and YouthBuild Louisville students will also be on display. The Playhouse Project sponsored by River City Bank is made possible through a partnership between the Building Industry Charitable Foundation, Kosair Charities, and YouthBuild Louisville.

The Fairy Gardens will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Building Industry Charitable Foundation and Kosair Charities.

To place bids on the Fairy Gardens, call 502-558-3358.

The Home, Garden & Remodeling Show is presented by Window World and sponsored by LG&E runs Friday, February 28th thru Sunday, March 2nd at the Kentucky Expo Center, South Wing.  For more information, visit www.LouisvilleHomeShow.
