LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After receiving information about possible drug activity at an apartment complex Monday, detectives with the Bullitt County Drug Task Force investigated and made two arrests.

According to a news release from the Bullitt County Sheriff's Department, after arriving at the Brooke Run Apartments, detectives were directed to a dumpster where it appeared two meth labs had been discarded.

After making contact with a female at one of the apartments in the 100 block of North Triangle Lane, detectives then found three additional active meth labs.

Police arrested Lekisha Sherrill, along with her cousin, James Sherrill. Both were charged with manufacturing meth and first degree criminal abuse since a small child was in the residence when the meth was being cooked.
