Victims of New Albany deck collapse file lawsuit
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Several people injured after a deck collapse have now filed a lawsuit.
The deck collapsed at the clubhouse of the Wolf Lake subdivision near New Albany, Ind. back in December. Those injured fell about 15 feet when the deck gave way.
Two months later, three of the victims still can't walk.
Security cameras show the deck crumbling and people falling to the ground. The company that built the deck say it's shielded from liability because the deck was more than 10 years old.
