LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Department of Education orders the principal of troubled Myers Middle School removed from his duties.
JCPS confirms the move Tuesday, less than a day after principal Jack Baldwin told the school board about a new effort to re-staff the school to improve poor student test scores.
A JCPS spokesman says the removal is coincidental to re-staffing changes.
The state determined through a formula that Baldwin "didn't have the capacity" to lead the turnaround.
There is no word on who will replace Baldwin.
