Ky. bill would permit cannabis oil as medical treatment
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Cannabis oil may soon be used to treat children suffering from seizures.
The Kentucky Senate Health and Welfare committee passed a bill that would allow trial use.
Cannabis oil is a marijuana extract.
It's believed the bill has enough support to pass the Senate and House.
It would allow use of the non-intoxicating medical marijuana oil when it's recommended by doctors practicing at a state university research hospital.
