LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Troopers say a fugitive facing several felony charges was arrested at an apartment in Charlestown, Ind., late Wednesday.

According to a news release from the Indiana State Police post in Sellersburg, the troopers received a tip that 43-year-old Charles F. Jackson of Clark County, could be found at an apartment located at 341 Maple Drive in Charlestown.

When troopers checked out the tip and entered the apartment, they soon located Jackson hiding between a mattress and box springs in the apartment's master bedroom. According to the news release, Jackson refused to follow officers' commands. A Taser was used to subdue Jackson so he could be taken into custody.

Jackson is now charged with resisting law enforcement; he was already wanted on five outstanding warrants with 14 charges that had been issued through Clark County, including three Class C felonies, five Class D felonies, and six misdemeanors.

Jackson was being held at the Clark County Jail in Jeffersonville.
