LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People are about to have a new way to cross I-71 in Oldham County.
A pedestrian bridge will be built to connect Old LaGrange Road over the interstate -- that's near the Buckner exit.
Work on the $1.17 million project is expected to begin in March and be complete by July. The 10-foot-wide bridge is part of the overall Oldham County Greenways master plan to improve pedestrian and cyclist facilities.
