LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Mississippi man was alive and kicking. There was only one problem: he was put into a body bag.

Family members thought 78-year-old Walter Williams had died at home Wednesday night. The coroner was called and he had no pulse -- so he was placed in a body bag and taken to the funeral home.

As workers were preparing to embalm him, he started to kick in the body bag.

He was then taken to the hospital. Officials believe his pacemaker stopped working, then started again.

Williams told his family he's happy to be alive.
