Two years after Tornadoes, Henryville residents reflect

HENRYVILLE, Ind. (WDRB) -- Two years after tornadoes devastated parts of Kentuckiana, people are reflecting on the unforgettable day this weekend.

In Henryville, the high school and elementary school were destroyed by an EF-4 tornado.

The deadly twister brought 175 mph winds to the town.

Sunday marks two years since the devastating tornadoes hit Kentuckiana.

Henryville residents were eating Saturday at the restaurant across from the schools, which was hit by a flying bus during the tornado. The owner told us it was something that he would never forget.

That day's tornado outbreak claimed the lives of dozens of people across several states.
