ISP seeking information on missing Perry County man

HARRISON COUNTY, Ind. (WDRB) -- A missing Perry County man was last seen in Harrison County and Indiana State Police are seeking information. 

George "Ronald" Schmidt Jr.'s family reported him missing Sunday and the 55-year-old man was believed to have been at River Bottom Inn before 6 PM on February 27th. 

Indiana State Police say he left the bar between 6 PM and 7 PM without his coat. His vehicle, a silver 1999 Honda CRV was left at the bar.

The family last heard from him around 8:30 PM the same night. The family says he did not show up for his new job Monday and they are deeply concerned for his safety. 

Schmidt is a white male, six feet tall and approximately 200 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel colored eyes and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes, ball cap and glasses.
