Rand Paul warns CPAC attendees of dangers of NSA surveillance

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky U.S. Senator Rand Paul came out swinging against the NSA at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

The Republican senator says he will not trade liberty for security.

"As our voices rise in protest, the NSA monitors your every phone call," Paul said. "If you have a cell phone, you are under surveillance. I believe what you do on your cell phone is none of their damn business."

Paul went on to tell the crowd a great President would have protected the American people from the prying eyes of the agency.

The three-day conference runs through Saturday.
