LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's a story about the supernatural world playing a part in the power of true love.

Actress Carla R. Stewart visited the WDRB studios to talk about her role as Oda Mae Brown in "Ghost the Musical," which is playing at the Kentucky Center through this weekend.

Set in present-day New York City, "Ghost the Musical" tells the story of Sam and Molly, a couple whose relationship is thrown into the hands of the supernatural after a tragic event. While walking home after a romantic dinner, they are mugged, leaving Sam dead on a Manhattan street. He becomes a ghost, trapped between the lands of the living and the dead, but finds out that Molly is in grave danger and tries to protect her, with the help of a phony psychic.

"Ghost the Musical" is based on the 1990 Academy Award-nominated movie, starring Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. The musical version has been nominated for three Tonys and five Olivier Awards and has been seen by over a million people.
