LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have arrested a man after he was found with multiple stolen guns while on home incarceration.

The man was prohibited from having any contact with guns, according to an arrest report.

Police say they were called to a home on Narcissus Drive, near the intersection of Blue Lick Road and S. Park Road, shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday, after they received a report that 22-year-old Shane Hayes was selling firearms out of his home while he was on home incarceration.

When they arrived, they searched Hayes' home, which police say they have a right to do because he is on home incarceration.

Police say they found two handguns in Hayes' bedroom, and three handguns in his infant daughter's bedroom. Two of the handguns had allegedly been reported stolen.

Hayes was taken into custody, since he allegedly violated the terms of his home incarceration by possessing firearms. He was charged with receipt of stolen property.
