Kroger employee accused of pocketing money from cash register
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a Kroger employee for stealing thousands of dollars from his employer.
According to an arrest report, 40-year-old Elmer Dudley worked at the Kroger store on N. 35th St., near I-64 and the Shawnee Expressway. Police say that between Jan. 29 and March 13, he stole at least $3,000 from the cash register by voiding receipts and pocketing the money.
He allegedly admitted to the crime.
Police arrested him Thursday afternoon and charged him with theft.
