Louisville Ballet prepares for their Spring Showcase featuring "Alice in Wonderland"

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keith Kaiser learned a few moves from some young ballerinas as they prepare for this year's Louisville Ballet School Spring Showcase.

The Spring Showcase was created especially for the students of the Louisville Ballet School to show off skills learned in weekly class and as part of the Louisville Ballet Youth Ensemble.

As part of their training, all beginning through advanced level and youth open division students are invited participate in the annual Spring Showcase.

Saturday, March 22nd and Sunday, March 23rd features the story of "Alice in Wonderland" performed by the students.

Saturday's showcase also features students in a wide range of dance styles offered in the Youth Open Division, including Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Flamenco and Broadway Jazz.

Dancers will learn choreography during class time that will be presented on stage as part of the Spring Showcase performance.

Ticket Prices:
Advance: $14 Adults / $9 Children (2-12 years of age)
Day of Show: $15 Adults / $10 Children
Family package discounts available.

Tickets will be available for purchase at Memorial Auditorium (970 South Fourth Street) 1 hour before the scheduled performance time.
