LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keith Kaiser is talking to some young actors as they get ready to perform High School Musical Jr. at Jonathan Jennings Elementary School in Charlestown, Indiana.
The show is just like the stage production of High School Musical, but with smaller actors.
Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay and the other characters in the show are played by kindergarten through 5th grade students.
The two main characters are in first and second grade.
More than 60 students are involved in the musical and are showcasing their acting, singing, dancing, tumbling and cheering talents.
High School Musical, Jr. will be performed on Thursday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m. and Friday, March 21st at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for students in grades K-12.
