LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Police arrested a man on Griffiths Ave. after they say he admitted to intentionally starting a fire, according to police.

Richard Douglas Marshall was taken into police custody Tuesday morning after they say he admitted to intentionally setting a fire by soaking wood in kerosene and then lighting it on a grill in an uninhabitable home.

The house was without utilities and ventilation and all but one exit from the house was blocked.

Fire crews responded on an emergency basis.

Marshall is charged with wanton endangerment.
