LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health Program is investigating a work accident at Churchill Downs.

It comes after Churchill Downs says a worker fell 12 feet on a construction project.

Daniel Lowry, with the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, says the investigation started Wednesday and there are no plans to stop construction on the property.

Churchill Downs is upgrading a grandstand and installing a new video screen.

Spokesman Darren Rogers says track officials are also looking into the incident.
