LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tornado sirens across Indiana wailed Thursday morning, but it was just a test.

The tests are part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week.

A second siren is scheduled to go off at 7:35 tonight.

Officials say Indiana has an average of 21 tornadoes a year -- and a record of 72 in 2012.

April and June are peak season for severe weather.
