LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Cards fans celebrated the team's win over St. Louis to earn them their third straight trip to the Sweet Sixteen.

Many of them turned up at Kluckers on Cardinal Boulevard to cheer on the team with fellow fans. It was a sea of red, and spirits were up thanks to the win.

"You know it's the spring fever, after the winter and the weather warms up and when your team is doing well it makes things a lot better," U of L fan David Burnish said.

While some were glad the hometown team pulled out a win, others were still scratching their heads over their broken brackets.

The general manager of Kluckers says this NCAA tournament has also been beneficial to them.

"It's been good for us, sales have been up dramatically every U of L game we pack the house," Kluckers' general manager Jason Shields said, "it's been good so far."

Shields hopes the Cards stay in the tournament but he says even if they lose, he hopes people will still come out and cheer on the rest of the teams.
