LMPD: Robbery suspects held woman at gunpoint at Shawnee bus stop

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police say officers arrested four men who robbed a woman at gunpoint in the Shawnee neighborhood after they were spotted on a porch just three blocks away.

According to an arrest report, a woman told police four men approached her at the bus stop at W Market St. and Amy Ave., pointed a silver revolver at her head and demanded her purse.

A witness told police that the men ran off north of the bus stop on 39th Street.

Police say just three blocks away, officers spotted the suspects sitting on the porch where 21-year-old Jerron Bush lived in the 100 block of N. 39th St.

Police took Bush, 20-year-old Craig Dean, 18-year-old Shaquazz Allen and 19-year-old Tyrone Booker into custody, and they were later identified by the victim and the witness.

All four suspects are charged with first degree robbery and each are held on $5,000 bond.
