LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The 2013 NCAA national runner-up Louisville women's basketball team returns to the KFC Yum! Center with their sights set on repeating their magical run to the NCAA Women's Final Four. Shoni Schimmel, Antonita Slaughter, and Sara Hammond lead the team back for the 2014 NCAA Sweet 16.
The University of Louisville women's basketball team will play host to the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship regional round on March 30 and April 1, respectively. The first game on Sunday is scheduled to start at noon between No. 1-seed Tennessee and No. 4-seed Maryland, and the second matchup of the day between No. 3-seed Louisville and No. 7-seed LSU is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m.
The winners of each game advance to Tuesday's 7 p.m. contest. Lower level all-session passes are $20 apiece, mid court club level all-session passes are $40, and group (10 or more) all-session passes are $15. Both will be available for purchase through Ticketmaster.com. Doors will open 60 minutes prior to the listed tipoff times.
