LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man was arrested after they found him with drugs in his possession, along with two small children.

According to police records, Timothy Grundy was arrested after police showed up at his apartment on Shepherdsville Rd. on Friday afternoon.

According to an arrest report, officers were responding to a call that two small children were running around in a hallway.

Police asked a neighbor who the children belonged to and were directed toward Grundy's residence. Grundy's door was open and he was unconscious on a couch, police say.

Officers had to physically wake Grundy.

While searching the apartment, officers observed in plain sight a bag of marijuana, a bag of pills, and a substance that was believed to be cocaine.

Officers released the children to their mother.

Grundy is charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.
