LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The company that owned the stage involved in a deadly collapse at the Indiana State Fair is paying a fine.

It will pay a $50,000 fine for safety violations.

The company has also agreed to prepare a safety plan for future stage projects and provide additional training for employees.

Seven people were killed when high winds toppled stage rigging just before a Sugarland concert in 2011.

Forty others were hurt.
