Rob-A-Que to donate portion of sales as restaurant debuts
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Pulled pork, sliced brisket and ribs is on the menu as a new restaurant opens in Louisville.
Rob-A-Que started serving customers Monday morning near the corner of Bishop Lane and Newburg Road, across from the JCPS central office.
"I like pig butts and I cannot lie" is plastered across the service line inside the restaurant.
The company started as professional barbecue competition team in 2011 and grew to catering in 2012. This is the first Rob-A-Que restaurant.
"We're calling this a quick service BBQ restaurant. Kind of a new system in BBQ," said owner Rob Bailey.
Through the month of April, a portion of Rob-A-Que sales will go toward Operation BBQ Relief, a non-profit offering food and other resources to aid as disaster relief.
