LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - LMPD officers arrested a woman who they say intentionally hit another woman with her car, according to police records.

Chastity Davis was arrested Monday morning after police say she struck a woman with her car during the afternoon hours of March 22.

Davis allegedly went to the victim's home, where she was searching for her ex-boyfriend, who is also the father of her children. Davis' ex-boyfriend is the victim's current husband.

Police say Davis became engaged in a dispute inside the victim's home. Davis was told to leave the house.

Davis reportedly got into her van to leave the victim's home. Davis' five children were reportedly in the van at the time of the offense. Police say Davis then intentionally drove her van towards the victim and struck her.

Police say Davis backed up the van to strike the victim a second time, but the victim's husband arrived and stopped it.

The victim was transported to a hospital and received treatment for abrasions, contusions, and an injury to her back.

Davis is charged with assault. She allegedly told the arresting officer that she'd do it again if she had the chance.
