LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keith Kaiser is taking a bite out of the Kentucky Derby Festival at Napa River Grill getting a taste test of next week's annual "Taste of Derby Festival."
The Dare to Care Food Bank "Taste of Derby Festival" celebrates 27 years Wednesday, April 9th, 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Pavilion at Louisville Slugger Field.
The "Taste of Derby Festival" is one of the most popular events of the Kentucky Derby Festival and the largest fundraising event for Dare to Care Food Bank raising over $100,000 last year.
Sample dishes from more than 50 of Louisville's finest restaurants and beverage companies.
Enjoy good food, bourbon tasting, and wine tasting including the "Best Bloody Mary Contest" won by Bluegrass Brewing in 2013.
Attendees will be eligible to participate in a silent auction with items donated from all over Kentuckiana.
Tickets are $80 each ($50 of which may be tax deductible).

In 2013, Dare to Care Food Bank helped more than 192,000 people in Kentuckiana.
Dare to Care partners with more than 300 food pantries, emergency kitchens and shelters in eight Kentucky and five Indiana counties.
Tickets will be sold at the door and admission is restricted to 21 years of age and over.
