LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It was a very special wedding for two Boston marathon bombing survivors.

The bride is from Louisville.

The popular wedding planning site TheKnot.com selected Rebekah Gregory and Pete DiMartino for The Knot Dream Wedding.

Pictures from the big day are being distributed on Twitter and Instagram.

The were married at noon Friday at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C. People voted to select the overall theme, cake, flowers and even Rebekah's dress!

Rebekah and Pete were at the finish line of the Boston Marathon cheering on Pete's mother last year.

Both were severely injured.

Rebekah is preparing for the upcoming amputation of her left leg.  They say their shared experience of survival has brought them closer.
