LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a fast food worker quit his job, only to return to rob the place a short time later.

According to the arrest report, it happened on March 6 around 11 p.m. at the Rally's located at 2130 W. Broadway. That's when 25-year-old Elvin McNeal allegedly approached the walk-up window and waited for the customer in front of him to leave.

After the customer moved away from the window, police say McNeal prevented the female employee from closing the window. Police say he pointed a gun at her and said "Don't say nothing," as he reached in and grabbed money from the cash register.

Police say the victim told police she recognize McNeal as a former co-worker who had quit his job about an hour before the robbery.

McNeal was arrested on March 4. He's charged with robbery. He's being held on a $25,000 full cash bond.
