NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- The jury for the latest trial of suspected serial killer William Clyde Gibson will be pulled from a pool of 400 people in Vanderburg County, Ind.

Evansville is located in that county.

Gibson appeared in court Monday for the murder of 35-year-old Stephanie Kirk of Charlestown.

During the pre-trial hearing, the judge ordered Gibson to grow out his hair and cover a tattoo that reads "Death Row X3" on the back of his head.

Another strange detail emerged Monday: Prosecutors claimed that Gibson has been smoothing out his mustache using the earwax of fellow inmates.

The judge ordered Gibson to remain in the Floyd County Jail until his next court appearance, which is scheduled for later this month.
