LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Demolition began Thursday at the Louisville Extreme Park, as crews tore down a huge part of the skateboarding area.

It's all happening to make room for crews to build flyover ramps that will support the new Downtown Bridge.

But the Louisville Extreme Park isn't going away...it's just moving a little.

About a third of the park will be demolished, and then rebuilt on the property next door.

The demolition work will continue for two to three weeks.
